Depart Hotel in Chiang Mai by minibus to Mae Kampong village, a perfect destination to experience the unspoiled beauty of nature, by minivan we pass through Chiang Mai’s picturesque countryside. The village is 1,300 meters above sea level with an average temperature of 10-25 C throughout the year.
Upon arrival you will walk through the community forest, where the villagers grow tea & coffee, to see how they preserve their forest and how they live in harmony with nature. Then walk around the village to witness fermented tea leaves process, handmade products, the 7- level waterfall, local school and temple are also included.
Lunch at local restaurant.
On the way back can be made stop at Sankampaeng Hot Spring, located 36 kilometers from town amid natural surroundings of trees and verdant hills.
The water has a high sulfur content and possesses curative and restorative properties. (If time permit, the clients could stop to visit the Umbrellas Making Center at Borsarng, Sankampaeng).
