It is by far the most densely populated city in Thailand with about 14.5 million people. Bangkok itself has gained the reputation as an independent, dynamic and influential city and is as well the political, social and economic Centre of Thailand – not to forget one of the leading cities in Southeast Asia.
Arrive in Bangkok (flight TBA / not included), the vibrant and throbbing capital city of Thailand. You are welcomed and escorted to your hotel. Bangkok has been built on the banks of the Chao Phraya River; this “City of Angels” has a fascinating appeal that is difficult to resist. The day is at leisure to relax and recover from the long flight.

Morning Half Day Bangkok City and Temples Tour (Private service time 08:30-12:30hrs)

This tour features “Wat Traimitr” with its 5.5-ton heavy Golden Buddha Image, Wat Chetuporn (commonly known as Wat Pho), that boasts the over 45-meters long Reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is regarded as the first center of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on various subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, meditation and is home of Thai traditional massages. The last stop is Wat Benchamaborpit (also known as the Marble Temple). We will end the tour with a visit to Wat Benchamaborpit: a representation of an outstanding successful marriage between Italian Carrara marble and classical Thai architecture. This half-day tour will especially delight those interested to know a bit more about Buddhism and its history, combined with the always-busy city life. Afternoon is free at leisure or own explore in the city via local transport.

Full Day City and Jungle incl. lunch Tour (Joined service/lunch | Service time 09:00-16:00hrs)
This full-day tour is the perfect occasion to learn about Krabi and to discover some of its most famous attractions. We will first drive to the most renowned temple of Krabi, the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sue). Located in a beautiful valley surrounded by 1000 years old vegetation, it is a popular meditation center in the region. We recommend climbing up the 600-meter-high staircase (1,237 steps) to admire an impressive view of Krabi province from the summit of the temple. You will also find there a large Buddha’s image and footprint. An early lunch will be served at a local restaurant before continuing our tour. After lunch, we will go to one of the region’s numerous great hot springs to relax and enjoy the serenity of the surrounding nature. This is one of the last remaining lowland forests in Thailand. From there, we will walk along well-prepared trails, pass by many cascades and jungle pools, and discover the area’s rich flora and fauna. After this brisk walk, we will reach the Emerald Crystal Lagoon where you will be able to rest and swim. To sum up, an excellent day out.
