Walk with Elephants: Kui Buri National park.

Elephant, many people already know that this animal is like the national symbol of Thailand, a creature that has been intertwined with Thai culture for a long time. It’s an animal that, if anyone has the chance to encounter and touch, it’s not hard to fall in love with. However, many people may not have the opportunity to experience this animal in its natural habitat, as most of us often encounter elephants in zoos or elephant sanctuaries. If you get a chance, you wouldn’t miss the opportunity to learn and get to know elephants better when in their natural environment.

Kui Buri National Park, located in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, is Thailand’s 90th national park. It was registered as a new natural world heritage site of Thailand on July 26, 2021. The park features diverse landscapes, including dry evergreen forests and wetlands, and serves as a watershed area. Its stunning scenery is home to various wildlife, such as wild elephants, gibbons, red cows, and deer, making it known as the “Safari Forest of Thailand.”

We are proud to invite you to get closer to the largest animal in the jungle of Kui Buri National Park. wild elephants, almost 2 hours drive southwards. Here you will have an opportunity to monitor wild elephants in the forest and get to know elephants better.

But visiting elephants like this also comes with precautions, as they are wild elephants. Natural elephants, in their natural habitat, have not been trained like the elephants we encounter in elephant sanctuaries or zoos. There may be various factors that can make it difficult for us to control some of the elephant’s behaviors. Please follow the recommendations and guidelines.
