Eurail Global Pass

The Eurail Global Pass offers consecutive day travel in the 20 European countries of the Eurail Network - Austria (including Liechtenstein), Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France (including Monaco), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. You can choose from 15 day, 21 day, 1 month, 2 month or 3 month passes, and travel as many days as you want within your pass limit. The standard Eurail Global Pass offers 1st class travel for everyone.

Other National Pass

German Rail Pass

Gives the customer the right to travel on all lines and trains operated by Deutsche Bahn(DB-German Railways), depending on the category and validity of pass chosen. The German Rail Pass Offer is not valid on Metropolitan Trains, DB Urlaubs Express and DB AutoZug.

France Rail Pass

For train travel on national rail networks in France with unlimited trips for 3 days within a 1 month period. The passengers can purchase up to 6 extra day. It can be used consecutively or non-consecutively.

Swiss Travel Pass

The Swiss Pass entitles you to unlimited travel on consecutive days throughout the rail, bus and boat Swiss Travel System network. The Swiss Pass is available for 4, 8, 15 or 22 days or one month.

Type of Ticket

Consecutive Pass

This is a perfect choice for travelers who plan to travel everyday, without any predetermined mileage. For example, if you purchase a 15-day pass and start using it on the 1st of May, you can take unlimited trips on the trains as you wish. But, if there were any days that you want to stay in town and not take any trains, the days are still counted. The 15th of May would be the last day that your pass is valid.

Flexi Pass

This pass can be used to take a train without any length or country limits. For example, you purchase a “10 days within 2 months” pass, which you start using on the 1st of April. Then, you take a second train on the 5th of April. That would count for 2 days of use. So, there would be 8 days that are still valid for your use, which you can use whenever you like within that two-month period. With this pass, you can take any train for any trips that you like, start from midnight to midday. For an overnight train, if you take the train after 19:00, it would count as a new day.

Youth Pass

This pass is for young people under the age of 26 years on the first day of usage. It is cheaper than the EuRail pass, with same conditions on usage, but it is only a 2nd class pass.

Adult Pass

The pass for passengers who are 26 or more years old.

Senior Pass

The exceptional point for this kind of pass is that it is exclusively for passengers who are 60 or more years old, or retired people.

Saver Pass

This final option is the pass for a group of 2-5 passengers who travel together on all trips. And, all the names of everybody in the group would have to be mentioned on the pass. If one who is named on the pass does not travel with the group, then that one does not have to buy a new pass. This pass is not so expensive and is suitable for passengers who travel in a group.

Seating Coach

An open car with an aisle that divides seats into 2 sides. These are classified as…

  • First Class Divided, by an aisle, into 2 rows of seats on both sides. One side has 2 seats, and the other has 1 seat.
  • Second Class Also divided, by an aisle, into 2 rows of seats on both sides. But this one has two seats on each side.

Night Train

This type of trains provides sleeping cars. Passengers have to reserve a bed and pay extra money. There are 2 kinds of this type of train.

  • Sleepers Consisting of a bed, sink, sleeping linen and towel (depends on the type of train.). Sleepers have separate men’s and ladies’ rooms, except for passengers who are husband and wife or family. In first-class, it is separated into single- and double-bed cabins. In second class, it separated into 2-bed (T2) and 3-beds (T3) cabins.
  • Couchette Consists of a wall bed, pillow, and blankets. There are 6 beds in one room, and a room is not segregated by passengers’ gender. So passengers have to dress in a most proper way, for their own security.
